Feeling Blue Dream (Deirdre Barrett)

In this dream, I was standing around with a group of people in a grim nighttime setting. One woman right in front of me caught my attention. She was all in blue and grey and a bluish grey light from somewhere was giving her a preternatural glow. She looked “blue” in the mood sense also. Suddenly two owls swooped down and landed on a headband or hairpiece on her head. They looked as if they were perched there for the night. Her glum expression intensified and she obviously wanted them to leave but felt helpless to accomplish this.

I made two pieces of art based on the dream—one title feeling blue and one uninvited guests
