Ben Blohowiak's electric piano ( vesper) provided the starting point for a simple melancholy piece. there was some sizzling noise from the cable when recording the guitar, but i felt it fitting to leave it in there.

To be clear, I enjoy this as its own thing. I also wanted to share that my spouse had the kettle on when I initially listened to this and we were pleasantly surprised as its seemed to sing along quietly as an adjunct high tone/texture.

Yes, good to hear!
My first ventures into synthesizer was wth Reaktor Synths, and I did make some rudimentary software synths at that time. The Reaktor synth that stayed with me from that time was the Steampipe synth, which also appears in this track.
So the kettle wasn't far away!
